Camilla Cho is the SVP of eCommerce at Vox Media — the leader in modern media — where she oversees affiliate revenue for the company’s digital brands, as well as incubates and manages several key new business initiatives. Cho leads Vox Media’s robust eCommerce business, which spans categories and editorial brands, including the industry-leading shopping recommendation site The Strategist, tech and gadget recommendations via The Verge, and recommendations from The Cut, Popsugar, Polygon and Eater.
Cho joined Vox Media by way of its merger with New York Media, where she had been since 2014, working most recently as general manager for eCommerce. In 2016, she helped launch The Strategist, and leveraged her experience growing The Strategist’s business and deepening audience trust to build a more robust commerce business for Vox Media’s editorial brands. She was most recently chosen as an honoree for Cynopsis’s 2022 IT List for the most innovative executives in digital media.
Cho previously worked at Aol, MTV Networks, IAC, and in early-stage start-ups in NYC, primarily in business development and strategy roles. She has been on stage at Digiday’s Publishing Summit, Affiliate Summit West, Affiliate Summit East, AdWeek’s Commerce Week, and several other events in the publisher affiliate industry. She has her MBA from The Wharton School and her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley / Haas. Cho currently lives in Jersey City, New Jersey.
