After 15 years hosting some of the biggest TV and radio shows in Australia, Jules Lund has swapped celebrity life for Silicon Valley, having founded one of world’s fastest growing micro-influencer marketplaces.
TRIBE launched in Australia in September 2015 and a year later raised AUD $5.35M in Series A round funding. In just over 18 months, TRIBE’s self-serve platform has connected brands with 11,000 micro-influencers, generating over 2,500 influencer campaigns.
Micro-influencers typically have a greater engagement with their audience, and are defined by TRIBE as having between 3,000 and 100,000 followers on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
TRIBE’s international expansion saw the platform launch in the UK in March 2017, with Moet Hennessy, Selfridges and Burt’s Bees, and over 1,000 UK influencers; exemplifying how global brands are exploiting tech to access premium content at unprecedented scale, unparalleled speed and at a fraction of the cost.
