Speaking at PI LIVE & IMS 2019

Our conference agenda is programmed and curated in-house by PI LIVE’s editorial team. New for 2019, the PI LIVE Advisory board will be assisting to shortlist many of the speaker submissions, to ensure all facets of the industry are covered and the most prominent and emerging themes are given a platform to engage with our audience.

We receive a large number of speaker submissions for our 45 programmable sessions therefore competition for a slot is fierce. Below you can find some advice to increase your chances of securing one of these slots.

How do submissions work?

  • We ask you to complete an online submission form by the 1st of May. Please do not email your submissions to us

  • We are looking for cutting edge topics and viewpoints on the industries leading trends, and will allocate speaking slots based on merit not on sponsorship

  • The more information you provide at the time of submission, the better

  • Once the deadline passes (1st May), we will collate the submissions and meet with the advisory board to narrow down the final agenda. At this point we’ll be in touch to fine tune any details and make sure we’re all on the same page. We’ll also finalise timings at this point

  • Up to 10 submissions will go to a public vote. If your submission is chosen for this route we will give you the opportunity to either opt-out or make revisions

What topics do we cover?

  • Our subjects of focus are tailored specifically to the needs of Advertisers and Publishers who have a vested interest in all aspects of Performance Marketing or Influencer Marketing.

  • The agenda will contain sessions on data-led advertising, affiliate marketing, video, paid social, paid search, influencer marketing, programmatic advertising, lead generation - this is not an exhaustive list!

  • We often include some more abstract sessions on neuroscience, leadership or entrepreneurship where relevant to our audience

  • Many topic are duplicated at the submissions stage, therefore sessions with a stronger synopsis and confirmed speakers will be given preference. We may also merge sessions where they complement each other.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge to submit a speaker proposal or to speak. We pride ourselves on curating the best possible agenda for our audience.

What you'll get

  • An agenda slot on on of our three stages (either the Dome Stage (250 seats) PI LIVE Main Stage (600 seats) or on our dedicated influencer marketing stage (250 seats)

  • We’ll boost your personal and company profile across the event website and social channels before, during and after the event to give you the opportunity to reach a highly-targeted audience. We’ll also provide you with a complimentary pass with lunch

  • Exclusive access to the onsite speaker room, providing refreshments and a space for you to bring your presentation and gather your thoughts before your slot

  • Speakers can bring a colleague at a 20% discount

Please note, we do not cover speaker expenses.

What we ask of you

  • We’ll ask successful applicants to work with us to promote your session which can include a unique piece of content published on PerformanceIN (content schedule permitting)

  • We also ask that successful applicants promote their session and involvement to their audience via email and/or social media - we’ll send over some assets to help out with this

Please do

  • Consider the takeaways you input carefully - what will the audience get out of the session?
  • Ensure your session provides actionable insight and/or thought leadership
  • Ensure any panel you submit includes equal male and female representation
  • Provide details of any confirmed panelists
  • Specify whether you wish to run a panel or solo presentation
  • Respect the deadlines of the submissions process
  • Bring along brands who can offer real-life stories of their success
  • Suggest potential speakers if you feel they are appropriate in stature and experience
  • Be responsive - a failure to respond to messages at key times could see you off the programme

Please don't

  • Submit a session about your company, product or service
  • Have a sales undertone to your submission - we categorically do not accept sales pitches and we are experts at weeding them out
  • Promise speakers you’ve not confirmed (this is a big no-no)
  • Propose lightweight session ideas - anything too vague stands a slim chance of being confirmed
  • Assume that anything less than a speaker agreement is confirmation from our side
  • PR agencies – dont promise speakers without approval from the client and speaker
