{"id":28153,"date":"2026-09-25T12:44:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T11:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/performancein.live\/europe\/?page_id=28153"},"modified":"2026-09-25T12:45:59","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T11:45:59","slug":"event-app-fair-use-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/performancein.live\/europe\/event-app-fair-use-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Event App Fair Use Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"28153\" class=\"elementor elementor-28153\" data-elementor-post-type=\"page\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6eecd26 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"6eecd26\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a265516 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a265516\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><\/p>\n<p>The PI LIVE event app is designed to support relevant, meaningful networking between attendees.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>We encourage users to connect with people who are genuinely relevant to their business, arrange meetings and follow up on conversations.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>To protect the attendee experience, the app must not be used for:<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>mass or indiscriminate cold outreach;<\/li>\n \n<li>sending the same or substantially similar message to large numbers of attendees;<\/li>\n \n<li>automated messaging or meeting requests;<\/li>\n \n<li>scraping, harvesting or systematically extracting attendee data;<\/li>\n \n<li>using bots, scripts, browser automation, third-party prospecting tools or automated API requests;<\/li>\n \n<li>using AI agents to browse, analyse, extract or contact attendees at scale; or<\/li>\n \n<li>copying event data into external prospecting lists, databases or CRM systems without a genuine business relationship or appropriate permission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>AI tools may be used to help draft an individual message, provided the user personally reviews the attendee profile and chooses to send the message.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Being visible in the event app does not mean an attendee has consented to receive bulk sales communications.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fair use<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Commercial networking is welcome where outreach is <strong>targeted, relevant and intentional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>A simple rule: <strong>if you would not reasonably send the message personally after reviewing that attendee\u2019s profile, you should not send it through the app.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Enforcement<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Hello Partner may monitor unusual patterns of activity, including high volumes of profile views, messages, meeting requests or automated data access.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Where we believe the app is being misused, we may warn the user, restrict functionality, suspend or deactivate their account.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Scraping, automated data extraction or deliberate use of bots or AI agents may result in immediate suspension while the activity is investigated.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Use of the app is also subject to the terms and acceptable use requirements of our event technology provider, GRIP.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Our aim is simple: use the app to start relevant conversations, not to turn the attendee directory into a cold-prospecting database.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PI LIVE event app is designed to support relevant, meaningful networking between attendees.
