Meet the 2019 advisory board who have kindly volunteered their time to help shape the two-day agenda. The board will meet in May to finalise the running order and nominate up to 10 sessions which will go up for a public vote, enabling attendees to have a direct say on the topics that are presented.
Anjulie Blunden is Managing Partner of Connected Path, a consultancy specialising in digital transformation and marketing attribution, and Co-Founder of MenteeMe, an app that creates mentoring relationships for digital tech professionals. Anjulie has over 12 years’ experience in digital marketing. Before founding her own business, Anjulie’s previous roles include Operations Director of Awin UK and Performance Marketing Director at Havas Media.
Anthony is Managing Partner of digital marketing consultancy Connected Path, and a long-standing contributor to the affiliate marketing industry with more than 12-years-experience. He is also Co-Founder of MenteeMe, an app that creates mentoring experiences for digital tech professionals. A regular commentator on tracking practices in performance marketing, Anthony is a firm believer in the need for more robust measurement and attribution methods across the industry.

With over 14 years' experience in the performance marketing industry, Chris has spent time working across the industry's events and publications scene, and is currently working as Client Services Director at Groupon Coupons, who acquired Vouchercloud in May of 2018.

Erin has worked in the affiliate marketing space for 6+ years and has had the opportunity to work as a publisher and managing clients in her career. She's worked with award winning companies in the health and beauty, office supplies, high end fashion verticals and most notably, in the travel/hospitality space and has launched and maintained affiliate programs globally with a strong focus on EMEA, LATAM and the Americas Not just a strong believer in data and digging into it, she also has a strong attention to detail that can’t be beat.
Helena works as an Account Director for Acceleration Partners across the EMEA region. She oversees the Account Management Team ensuring Acceleration Partners is always offering an outstanding service to its clients, developing strategies which achieve clients’ goals and ensuring clients are supported with new projects in the affiliate space. Helena has over 8 years’ experience in the affiliate industry and has worked agency, managing one of the biggest affiliate programmes, eBay Partner Network, network and publisher side before moving to Acceleration Partners.

Julia Smith is an Independent Digital Consultant specialising in digital ad strategy, and operations, brand safety, ad fraud prevention, piracy, programmatic trading, PR, sales training, ad trading, attribution modelling and digital marketing. Her role within Impact Radius is as Director of Communications EMEA. Julia is also a Partner in global consultancy, The 614 Group; Board Advisor, Intrinsic Europe and Strategic Events Consultant, Improve Digital.
Affiliate Team Leader
With over 10 years’ experience in e-commerce and affiliate marketing, Sean Mahon joined Scotland’s leading digital agency Equator in 2014. Overseeing a team that is responsible for managing programmes for the likes of AXA, Malmaison, Hotel du Vin and Village Hotels, Sean is responsible for the continued growth and innovation of all affiliate activity at Equator. Sean’s background is primarily in online fashion retail having successfully managed and launched affiliate campaigns for the likes of Schuh, the UK’s leading high street footwear retailer, and Urban Industry, a premium online streetwear store. This experience has helped enormously in feeding his sneaker addiction over the years.

Kevin has worked in affiliate marketing for 15 years and at Awin for 10 of those. In his role he’s responsible for empowering the company’s employees and clients with the right data and insights to make the most informed decisions about their campaigns. He also takes an active role in creating best practice standards and self-regulation. Kevin was previously Chair of the Affiliate Marketing Council in the UK and continues to play an active role in the IAB’s Legislation and Standards’ Committee.

As Head of Affiliates at iProspect UK, Matt oversees the Affiliate and Lead Generation products across multiple verticals and award-winning global brands. Matt has worked across both network and agency, and has been part of affiliate marketing since 2012, and has been at iProspect since January 2016.

Yonatan Dotan is the CEO and co-founder of Affluent, an analytics platform dedicated to solving the problem of fragmented data in the affiliate industry. Started just two years ago, today Affluent tracks over $1B per month of revenue from the affiliate channel. Previously, Yon was a VP at a digital agency where he built one of the first global App Store Optimization teams and oversaw campaigns for major international companies. Working closely with publishers, advertisers, agencies, and networks, Yon has a unique viewpoint on the opportunities and challenges facing the industry.
James’s career in the performance marketing industry was largely formed during a 7-year tenure with Tradedoubler, during this time he held roles including Account Director and Head of Client Services ultimately culminating in his position as VP Business Development & Regional Director UK, responsible for commercialisation of international projects and heading the UK business respectively. Since leaving TD in early 2018 James has joined the Global Discovery Platform, Outbrain, and is responsible for commercial activity in Northern Europe.
UK Operations Director
Since joining Tradedoubler in 2013, Clement has held various positions within the Client Development team, and has worked with many high-profile brands including Dell, ebookers, Expedia, Accorhotels and Direct Line Group. His understanding of digital and his passion for technology were apparent right from the start and throughout the various roles, Clement demonstrated great analytical and business acumen. Clement has strong knowledge and experience in managing best in class performance-based campaigns.
In his current role, he is responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining appropriate operating standards and principles across Tradedoubler UK to maximise resources, sharing of best practices and commercial benefits. Clement also shares responsibility for managing key initiatives to support delivery of the UK business strategy and oversee the strategic direction of Tradedoubler UK operational business functions including Marketing and Talent Development.
With 20+ years experience in the affiliate marketing industry, Matthew operated as an affiliate on multiple projects before founding PerformanceIN - A publishing and events business most recognised for PI LIVE, Europe’s leading Performance Marketing Conference and the Performance Marketing Awards.
Matthew was co-founder and Managing Director at discount specialist vouchercloud before it’s the acquisition by Vodafone and a helped co-found Optimus Performance Marketing an International Affiliate Management agency.
Matthew continues to invest in disruptive industry startups and is a keen industry advocate.

From starting in a garage to quickly generating over €1M in annual revenues, Fruzzel Group’s clients include Rituals, Correos Express, Wolford, AVM, 888, FC Barcelona and Brussels Airlines. Subsidiaries of the group include Qualicepts, the creative agency developing online campaigns and Karabanga.com, the marketplace for campaign delivery to premium publishers worldwide.

James has been at TopCashback for 8 years and has seen the UK cashback site grow from 750k UK members to over 10m global members to make it the largest publisher in the UK and one of the largest in the world. Previously to TopCashback James has worked in the affiliate industry for 8 years, at an affiliate network, agency and advertiser.
Global Commercial Director
James Boden, is currently the Global Commercial Director for Smarter Click, a technology publisher. Previously having worked in other areas of the industry including client, network, and publisher roles, at all levels.
Being fully invested in these areas of performance marketing, James has taken an active role in the establishment of best practices within the industry, through the IAB and independently while working as Client Services Director for one of the UK’s larger voucher code sites.
Jame’s increasing passion for the sector, ensuring best practice and being at the forefront of innovation and technology, led to his current role. With the aim to use proprietary technology to ensure client success and to meet their ongoing and ever moving KPI’s.
Maria is a Marketing Director at TripAdvisor, responsible for overseeing the Affiliate channel for the Experiences and Vacation Rentals organization. In this role, she helps run global partnerships across various TripAdvisor brands and is responsible for the continued growth and innovation of this channel.
Working in this sector for over five years, she has revamped the affiliate program to deliver +100% YoY growth; launched new programs across various markets; and grown an in-house affiliate team to drive her strategy, while delivering first-class account management service to partners.
With over 15 years of marketing experience, Maria has worked across a multitude of industries ranging from retail, property, software to travel. In addition to her affiliate marketing expertise, she has extensive experience in managing SEM, Social Media, PR, Retargeting and Display.
Managing Director, EMEA
As Managing Director, EMEA, Anthony leads Rakuten Marketing’s EMEA business and ensures the highest levels of client service and innovation for partners. He joined Rakuten Marketing EMEA after five years’ working as Managing Director for APAC, where he led the business since its days as a start-up achieving exponential growth for the APAC region.
He has more than 20 years of experience working alongside many of the world’s major retailers. Prior to joining Rakuten Marketing, Anthony was general manager of Salmat Targeted Media, Australia’s largest direct and digital marketing organisation. He is also an advisor to the Business Arts Foundation and the National Online Retailers Association.
